December 15, 2023 – Zhonghe has completed and started operation of a smart production line for high-end furniture boards with an annual capacity of 100,000 cubic meters for Guangdong Yangshun Wood Industry Co., Ltd. The project uses advanced international smart manufacturing technology and achieves full automation from raw wood processing to finished product packaging. This marks a new step for the company from making automated lines to building “smart factories.”
Strategic Upgrade: From Equipment Supplier to Smart Manufacturing Service Provider
“This is more than just a project; it is an important sign of our strategic change,” said the company's general manager in an interview. “We are shifting from only supplying equipment to providing complete smart manufacturing solutions. In the future, we will focus on three main areas: developing smart equipment, building digital factories, and running industrial internet platforms.”
